Quick Trip To Rochester, December 2000
Created and Last Updated 12 December 2000.
I was lucky enough to go through Rochester, NY last week and was able to
connect with from friends from Nazareth and with Aunt Betty Osborne. And, we
drove down Allen's Creek Road to see what had happened to Margaret Strong's
Estate. A few quick shots:
Aunt Betty, Don and Carol
- The Carol, Aunt
Betty and Don in front of the fireplace
- Barney joins
the group
- Barney chooses a
back view
- Don and Carol's 1850's House--back
door. Oops.
- Aunt Betty's Lady Plumber
- The Fireplace at 8 Merchant's Road that Uncle Clinty and Charlie
(a.k.a my father) built--many years ago for Herb and "Mrs."
Schefter, a relative of "Aunt" Elsie and "Uncle" Irv on
Dorchester Road. There is another fireplace at the house on
Dorchester, but I didn't get a photo of it this time.
The "'66 Book Group"
Margaret Strong's Back Door
- House
is in the process of becoming a Bed and Breakfast and surrounded by Condos.
