Tika = Ramahill's Natica at Legacy. She is the Dam of Ellie who is the Dam of the puppies.
This is a story from Barb, the breeder about Tika:
"Tika was a very happy girl, very devoted and easy to train. We went to obedience and she did very well. She liked being my buddy...
She was an excellent mother to her pups...easy whelper.
She is funny when I have a new rescue dog her or a strange person that we aren't sure about. She will always put herself between me and that dog or person. No matter where I turn she blocks them from having access to me . Never does anything, just watches and protects me.
One time in a vet clinic we were waiting for an appointment and a lady came in with a cute Scottie pup. Tika was very tolerant, but basically laid down and ignored the pup. Moments later a boxer came in dragging his owner and barking and growing at everyone and everything.
Tika watched, but then ignored him. But the Scottie pup started to wander near the boxer (the owners weren't paying attention) and the boxer lunged at the pup. Quicker that I could ever have imagined, Tika flew at the boxer's throat and nailed him. She just held him in place; didn't break the skin. But she held him until the owner got some control. The Scottie pup got away unmarked.
Tika never ceases to amaze me."
